Getting out of bed and moving on :)
Greetings, everyone, I can keep my diary again :)
I am sorry about the delay that occurs in the English version of my blog, but it is because I am writing in my native Ukrainian first, so it takes time to translate after publishing Ukrainian :)
Why again? Because life does not teach, I again stepped on the same rake I had already stepped on at the beginning of the war. Only then was it objectively not my mistake since the war began. The logistical links were disrupted, and now, due to my own negligence, I did not notice that my medical plasters were running out. Therefore, I started looking for them at the wrong time and spent two and a half weeks in bed since getting out of it without at least one type of medication in the regimen turned out to be problematic.
And so, thanks to friends, at the end of last week, the plasters arrived for me. Let me tell you, drug addicts do not get as high from drugs as I do from plasters and their effect - I can move like a human being! :)
But I checked how I would be without them, and I can sum it up - bad, very bad. However, I gained invaluable experience in idleness, as I could neither play on the computer nor read books. I turned on some nonsense on YouTube and dozed. And honestly, I don't understand people who, being physically healthy, lie down or sit out their lives in an apartment. First, it hurts. On the third day of lying down, my lower back began to hurt incredibly. A person is not created to be constantly in a horizontal position; the body needs action. Secondly, it makes absolutely no sense. Life takes place somewhere outside the room. The movie "Click: With a Remote Control Through Life" is worth watching - the title seems to be like that. This is a comedy in which the main character gets hold of a remote control, with which he can rewind his life forward when he does not want to experience a particular moment. Rewinding back, of course, was forbidden. Well, how did it all end? So it is worth experiencing all the moments of your life, joyful and easy, and sad and difficult. And the film is worth watching; it is kind and funny, and at the same time, it also makes sense.
Success in sports
My challenge to improve my body was also put on hold for obvious reasons. Unfortunately, as I started the year with 109 kg, that's where I was until I received the patches. It's hard to lose weight lying in bed. :) So from Friday, I burst into training, and already on Saturday, I regretted it—the muscle pain did not keep itself waiting. But it is a pleasant feeling, although it is physically painful.
By the way, I developed a program for myself, chopped for the whole week. Since I have relatively much time, I can train a little every day. In contrast to the classic duos of chest-biceps, back-triceps, and legs-shoulders (which involve three workouts a week), I allocated a day of the week for each group. On Sunday, I had a day of complete rest. I'll try to see what comes of it.
The diet is a complete mess; I love to eat)) But I still try less. The task is complicated by the fact that my friend Zhenya, who lives with me, switched to the ghoul mode and sleeps during the day, and starts cooking at night, so we often have dinner at 2 or 3 in the morning :D It's unlikely that this helps the diet, but to refrain from the smell of potatoes fried with garlic - no, thank you, let the stomach remain. 109 is not 150, after all.
I started running in the forest. Well, running is a big deal; it turns out 2 minutes of running, and then 5 minutes of walking)) During this forest journeys, I fall down three more times to do push-ups 25 times, so I think it's not a heavy load, but at least it is a load)
And swimming in the lake continues. Or rather, a pond because the lake is a closed reservoir (a little formalism for you).
Preparing for a new game

Another interesting thing. I accidentally saw an advertisement for the game "Black Myth: Wukong." The graphics are fascinating, so I watched the review to see if it's worth playing. Everyone's conclusion is unequivocal - play, but... As you know, everything that is said before the "but" can be ignored. So after the "but," everyone notes that the game is Chinese and the plot is based on one of the four pearls of Chinese literature - the work "Journey to the West" by Wu Cheng En, and therefore it is full of references to it and flaunts characters about whom absolutely nothing is explained. So, to better understand the plot, I decided first to read the work :) And there were 4 volumes with over 1000 pages)) But I was captivated, and already 1/8 of it was behind me. However, the actions that will take place in the game have not yet begun)) And in the center of events is a man-like ape, a character I have met in games and cartoons but did not know anything about him.
Traditionally, in China, the book is imbued with the wisdom of Buddhism and Taoism, so it is interesting to read. Maybe someday I will finish it and write my review))
Yes, I think that is enough information because there will be nothing to tell later :D I'd better go and stock up on the pond; I haven't been there yet today :)
And finally - several people asked how to issue a paid subscription or make a donation. And as I can't receive money from Substack subscriptions because of war, so if you want, use PayPal, and the recipient is sashko1391@gmail.com :) Or directly to the card - 4441111149739264. I'll give you the CVV code upon request :D
